Whitelaw Avenue Baptist Church

 Sunday School

Sunday 9:30-10:30 a.m.
We have a wonderful Sunday School here at Whitelaw Avenue Baptist Church.  We feel it is important to study and learn about our Lord Jesus Christ.  We have classes for all ages: Preschool, Children through 6th grade, Youth through 12th grade and Ladies, Mens, Singles, Seniors and Co-Ed classes.
Come join us as we study God's Word and grow in Christ.
Worship Services
Our Worship Service is a blended service with traditional hymns as well as contemporary praise music led by our praise team. Our services involve a strong pulpit ministry with a pastor who boldly, but simply proclaims God's Word. We also use drama and video as a tool to communicate the truths of God's Word.
Our church provides child care during the morning worship services for children ages 0-5.
We also have Children's Church for children ages K- 4th grade during the message part of our morning worship service.  The children leave the worship service after the song service and just before the message.
Music Ministry & Drama
Children's Choir Rehearsal 6:30-7:00 p.m.
Adult Choir Rehearsal 8:00-9:00 p.m.
Music is an important part of our ministry.  Everyone is invited to become a part of our Adult Choir.  This is a good opportunity to get to know and fellowship with other church members of all ages.  The adult choir provides special music in our services as well as a Cantata at Christmas.
The Children's Choir includes children in 1st through 6th grade.  The children provide special music throughout the year and a Christmas program!  We would love for you to bring your children on Wednesday night!
We are blessed to have many talented and devoted musicians who enjoy praising the Lord through music.  A variety of dramatic arts are utilized including dramatic readings, poetry, creative movement, puppetry and skits.  People of all ages have the opportunity to minister through drama in our services.
