HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN
1. Realize I have sinned and deserve death, not heaven.
- Romans 3:23a - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
- Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
2. Repent of my sins and sinful life.
- Luke 13:3 - "Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."
3. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins.
- Romans 5:8 - "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
4. Ask Jesus to come into my life as my Savior and Lord.
- Romans 10:13 - "For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
5. Pray this prayer to express your commitment.
- Lord Jesus, I realize I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins. Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for me and I ask you to come into my life as my Savior and Lord.
